The former talk-show host appeared on "The Breakfast Club" on Thursday, where she refuted the notion that she requires the extensive care she is currently receiving. Charlamagne tha God, a co-host of the show and a long-time friend of Williams, introduced her, stating that she is "being taken advantage of." "I am not cognitively impaired," Williams asserted, adding, "But I do feel like I am in prison." She described her living situation among residents in their 70s, 80s, and 90s, emphasizing that at 60, she still feels "sexy and gorgeous." She expressed concern about the well-being of those around her, saying, "There's something wrong with these people here on this floor." Last year, Williams' representatives announced her diagnosis of progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia, conditions known to affect cognitive abilities and communication, according to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. The co-star that Burt Reynolds disliked working with the most revealed, “She had this issue with me.”

Movies like Smokey and the Bandit made him an icon of the 1970s, while his breakout role in John Boorman’s Deliverance proved that he could do more than project charisma.  Reynolds secured his start as an actor after an injury forced him to stop playing college football. He knocked around on television for a while, playing cops and hunky blacksmiths before he bridged the gap to movies. He hit the peak of his career in the late 1970s and early ‘80s, playing hyper-masculine characters in movies like Semi-Tough and Cannonball Run. He rarely appeared in critically acclaimed movies, but it didn’t matter; he was one of the most popular stars in America.  By the late 1980s, Reynolds' career was on the decline. His portrayals began to feel increasingly redundant, putting him at risk of turning into a caricature of his former self. Throughout this time, he faced a series of commercial failures, one of which led to his most challenging encounter with a female co-star. The film was 1988’s Switching Channels, a remake of the 1928 play (and 1931 film) The Front Page, which was also adapted into the classic 1940 romantic comedy His Girl Friday. Reynolds stars as the director of a cable network whose ex-wife, played by Kathleen Turner, is his star news anchor. They spar constantly, but ultimately, of course, fall madly back in love. Unfortunately, things were not so romantic off-screen. In a 2018 interview with The Palm Springs Desert Sun, Reynolds identified the film as one of his biggest professional mistakes, pointing directly to Turner as the cause. “That was the only leading lady I couldn’t get along with at all,” he confessed. “She had this thing about me and she was probably right. I didn’t know what the hell I was doing. But, at least I was trying to be nice to everybody.” When the interviewer inquired if he was referring to Turner, Reynolds casually responded, “Yep.” It was almost as if he was signaling, “Let’s move on to the next topic.” This is a fairly diplomatic description of an unpleasant on-set experience, especially considering that Reynolds was not the only one who found Turner to be a challenging co-star. Although she was one of the most prominent actors in the ‘80s with movies like Romancing the Stone, Body Heat, and Peggy Sue Got Married, she frequently clashed with other actors and suffered a sharp career decline. For her part, Turner was equally unimpressed with Reynolds and once said that he was responsible for the worst on-screen kiss of her career. In a 2018 interview with Vanity Fair, she gave her side of the feud.   “Working with Burt Reynolds was terrible,” she said, revealing that he made her cry on the very first day of shooting. “He said something about not taking second place to a woman,” she continued. “His behaviour was shocking. Wendy Williams claims that P Diddy faces a life sentence in prison following his attempts to 'destroy' her.

Outspoken star Wendy Williams, 60, didn’t hold back as she addressed the long list of allegations filed against disgraced rapper P Diddy, 55 - real name Sean Combs. Former talk show host Wendy made a guest appearance on The Breakfast Club radio show this morning, hosted by Charlamagne tha God. Charlamagne - who once worked on audio on The Wendy Williams Show - addressed the TV star’s own former career in radio. Wendy previously worked at the radio station HOT 97, where she was let go following several disparaging remarks about Diddy. In her book, The Wendy Williams Experience, she suggests that she believes Diddy played a role in her dismissal, expressing that she harbored “a certain level of contempt for Puff” due to his attempts to “single-handedly ruin” her career. Wendy remarked that it was 'about time' he faced some consequences for his actions. "Hey Wendy, it's been years since you got let go from HOT 97 due to Diddy. Looking back at it now and seeing Diddy's current status, how do you reflect on that whole situation?" Charlamagne inquired. Wendy replied: “When I watch TMZ and I see the stuff that goes on, I’m like, ‘Oh my God.’ And then all the sudden I see me on TMZ. So it’s really weird seeing me on TMZ… "When it comes to Diddy, mark my words, he’s facing a life sentence, folks. There are things about Diddy from the past that you’re not aware of, and you know what? It’s high time this happened. It’s definitely time for Diddy to face the music." Wendy’s firm words about Diddy come after a PR expert weighed in on the silence from most celebrities, and claimed that they’re scared to speak out either in support or judgement of the rapper. “Unlike Harvey Weinstein or R. Kelly, the response to Diddy's arrest is massively quiet within the celebrity community," celebrity crisis expert Eric Schiffer, told the Mirror. Commenting on the situation in Hollywood, he remarked: "Stars are keeping quiet because they fear for their reputations being exposed under the spotlight and facing backlash from fans due to their connections with Diddy. Even worse, they dread the possibility of being summoned to disclose Diddy's hidden truths." Diddy is currently behind bars at the ruthless Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he is awaiting trial after being charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, transportation and engaging in prostitution. The rapper is expected to be locked up until his trial kicks off on May 5. However, there are concerns that Diddy is exerting power from behind bars. The rapper has requested bail multiple times, and a court filing from November saw prosecutors urge the judge to reject him. They wrote that a review of recorded jail calls made by Combs showed he had asked family members to reach out to potential victims and witnesses and urge them to create "narratives" to influence the jury pool. "The defendant has consistently demonstrated - even while incarcerated - a blatant disregard for the rules, aiming to inappropriately influence the results of his case. In essence, the defendant has proven that he cannot be relied upon to follow any established rules or conditions," prosecutors stated in a submission that included redacted portions.
